THE 2007 COMPETITION.
Edward Levinson
of Japan was Awarded: First Prize in category - "BOOK- other"
(Cover + 4 Inside Images) Professional - for the entry titled, " Timescapes Japan
." The jury selected 2007’s winners
from over 8,000 photography entries from 85 countries.
Book
categories consisted of Fine Art, Nature, Portraits, Documentary, and
Other. Levinson's work consists of all these genre and thus was entered
in the "Other" category.
His winning entry will be published in the high-quality, full-color Px3
Annual Book, which is distributed to galleries, agencies, publishers
and bookstores worldwide.

Winning
entries from each major category (Advertising, Photojournalism, Book, Fine Art,
Nature, and Portraiture) are exhibited in Paris at the prestigious 13Sévigné
Gallery in June/July 2007 and published in the high-quality, full-color Px3
Annual Book, which is distributed to galleries, agencies, publishers and
bookstores worldwide.
About
the Winner: Edward Levinson is an American
photographer specializing in pinhole photography. He has lived in Japan since
1979. His work is regularly exhibited in Japan, the U.S.A., and Europe. His
unique view of Japan can be seen in his recent book “Timescapes Japan – A
Pinhole Journey” and on his website.
